Hello World!

We are ready to get back at it! Are you? This year will be OFF the charts. We have new drum heads! WHAT! We have new repiques?! WHAT!!!! We have some parts to fix a few tamborims! WHATT!!!!?

Classes start back up THURSDAY January 11th! We are accepting new students so if you want to show up – please do so! ATTENTION NEW PEOPLE: fill out THIS form. The most up to date information is on facebook and instagram.

Classes are THURSDAYS from 7-8:30 pm in the SambASEment. Each session is $15 and we will ask everyone to pay at the beginning of the month. Cash is fine and Venmo is available.

January Classes: 11,18,25

February Classes: 1,8,15,22,29 (WHAT!!!)

March Classes: 7, 14,21,28

looking for a gig late february and LARGER gig in APRIL. April/May dates TBA. July Parades are ON (4th in Evanston and Old Town Square Roots). Most likely NO rehearsal in August. Trying to bring in 1-2 special guests over the next 6 months. Also – we will introduce our newest member!

Keep the Party Going with EEDS!

Evanston Escola de Samba’s 2013 4th of July Parade was a great success. Everyone did a fabulous job – and now we have the photographs and videos to show for it! Check out both of our photo albums on Facebook for some amazing pictures. However the 4th of July parade is just the beginning for EEDS, and we would love for you to join us for these upcoming events and classes.

We are having a music-filled 10th anniversary party for EEDS on Friday, July 26th from 7 to 10 PM and you are all invited, more details to follow shortly.
