Classes are back in session! Fingers crossed we are able to get together and perform at some events! We will be meeting WEDNESDAY nights at the SamBasement. Message me for exact address. The plan is to shred for July 4th Parade in Evanston, a pop up performance mid-to-late July, and maybe August 20th Parade TBA.

The plan is to prepare for May 12th at Lane Tech and then July 4th in Evanston and perhaps August 20th at the Chicago Caribbean Carnival Celebration.

Evanston Escola de Samba won the Evanston 4th of July parade, so now it’s time to really celebrate. Join us for the Brazilian samba event of the summer on Saturday 7/28! You better be there, this is EEDS’ last major event until October. Invite your friends! Get ready for Carnaval in July!
When: Saturday 7/28 from 8 PM – 11:45 PM Where: The Irish American Heritage Center’s Erin Room (4626 N Knox Ave, Chicago, IL 60630).
The night will include samba dance lessons with Dill Costa, samba dancers, bateria (Brazilian percussion) performance, pagode and more!
$10 cash only at the door
