Second City Samba is a community samba school, open to anyone who wishes to join. Our bateria and dance groups are made up of long-time musicians and novices, families and individuals, old and young, all coming together to enjoy samba! You can become a part of SCS by joining one of our classes.

Instructor: Reed Flygt
Description: Second City Samba rehearsals weekly. Students will learn Rio-style percussion techniques and patterns. Every week is a drop in – so join us as often as you can. Instruments will be provided – All levels welcome! Sometimes we offer beginning level on a different date. Stay tuned! We also learn Maracatu and Samba Reggae Styles.
